Joe Casali Engineering, Inc. (JCE) was contracted by Bryant University to design site improvements and utility connections for the 9,825 square foot, 3-story building addition for the Physician Assistant Learning Center attached to the Management Resource Center. Improvements included associated porous pavement parking, landscaping, stormwater management, and utility services.
Site features were designed in accordance with Smithfield Zoning and Land Development Regulations as well as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). JCE’s responsibilities included preparing site plans and documents to facilitate permits from the Town of Smithfield Zoning Board, Town of Smithfield Planning Board, Smithfield Water Supply Board, Smithfield Sewer, and the Smithfield Soil Erosion Control Committee.
JCE prepared the site improvement and utility connection designs for a 10,500 square foot replica of the Shu Fang Zhai Palace from the Forbidden City portion of Beijing, China.
The proposed design included surface parking, pedestrian walkways, drainage, and utility services.
Joe Casali Engineering, Inc. (JCE) was contracted by the Community College of Rhode Island (CCRI) to prepare site plans for the Edward J. Liston Campus Parking Lot ‘E’ Expansion. Site improvements included updated site lighting, landscaping, drainage modifications/updates and circulation improvements for transit buses to servicing the campus.
JCE’s responsibilities included preparing plans and documents to facilitate permits from the Providence Planning Department, RI Public Transit Authority (RIPTA), and the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management (RIDEM) Office of Water Resources.
In addition, JCE assisted in the preparation of the project manual and construction documents. JCE will perform construction administration as needed, as the project proceeds through the construction phase.
Joe Casali Engineering, Inc. (JCE) was contracted by the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management to provide Civil Engineering design and permitting services for a beach re- development at Lincoln Woods State Park in Lincoln, Rhode Island. JCE’s responsibilities included master planning of a new lifeguard/ranger station, bathhouse, and nature center with re-oriented traffic circulation and emergency access to the waterfront. Existing issues of insufficient parking and flooding within the park are being addressed through the implementation of porous asphalt parking lots. Park utility infrastructure will be upgraded from existing septic and wells to new municipal sewer and water services. A new 1,500-foot long utility corridor will be constructed for the services, which will be installed below the adjacent Route 146 freeway.
JCE provided civil/site engineering services for the New Marion J. Mohr Library. JCE was responsible for the site layout including the entrance road, surface parking facilities, and sidewalks.
Utility designs include a sewer connection, water main extension, service connections and related appurtenances. JCE designed a closed drainage system and underground infiltration system to mitigate impacts from the increase in peak storm water rates due to proposed site improvements.
Joe Casali Engineering, Inc. (JCE) was contracted by NES Group to design site improvements and utility connections associated with a new Dexter Credit Union (now known as Navigant Credit Union) branch on Danielson Pike in North Scituate, Rhode Island. Site improvements included a new parking lot, pedestrian walkways, drive-up facilities, signage, stormwater management, on-site wastewater treatment design (OWTS) and utility services.
Site features were designed in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) along with the Town of Scituate Zoning and Land Development Regulations. JCE’s responsibilities included preparing plans and documents to obtain permits from the Scituate Planning Commission, the Scituate Village Overlay District, the Rhode Island Department of Transportation (RIDOT) Physical Alteration Permit (PAP), and the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management (RIDEM) Office of Freshwater Wetlands and Office of Water Resources.
Joe Casali Engineering, Inc. (JCE) was contracted by Robinson Green Beretta Architects to design site improvements and utility connections for a 14,000 square foot addition to Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence, Rhode Island. Proposed site improvements include parking lot improvements, utility services, pedestrian walkways, and stormwater management.
JCE’s responsibilities include preparing site plans and documents to facilitate permits from the City of Providence, Narragansett Bay Commission, Providence Water Supply Board, Providence Department of Public Works, and the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management (RIDEM) Office of Water Resources.
In addition, JCE provided professional geotechnical engineering services. JCE observed and documented five (5) borings.
Joe Casali Engineering, Inc. (JCE) was contracted by the Robinson Green Beretta Architects to provide site development plans and documents for an 8,144 square foot classroom/office building addition to the existing equipment building at the Rhode Island Fire Academy in Exeter, RI.
JCE was responsible for designing the project from the Construction Documents Phase through Construction Phase Services.
JCE’S responsibilities included providing construction inspections, requests for information (RFIs) responses, show drawing reviews, site inspections and final project certification.
